Después de todo este tiempo sin noticias, he querido enviarte un enlace a mi última participación en un programa de televisión sobre la repercusión de las próximas olimpiadas en la escena internacional.

Hacía tiempo que quería expresar mi opinión sobre los acontecimientos actuales entorno a la proximidad de la celebración de los Juegos Olímpicos de Pekín y toda la parafernalia periodística alrededor del recorrido internacional de la llama olímpica. Por eso quisiera agradecer a la Fundación Gustavo Bueno, que me invitara a participar en el programa que produce para Oviedo Televisión, con total libertad para expresar mis pensamientos y opiniones.

Es claro, notorio y evidente, que el Gobierno de la República Popular China está realizando pasos para su apertura definitiva internacional, y que además, lo están haciendo, tendiendo una mano y buscando cooperar con los países occidentales. Como recompensa, se encuentran con una serie de observadores occidentales, soberbios y puntillos, con más esmero en recordar errores del pasado que en observar y alentar los pequeños pasos, enormes por novedosos, que se están llevando a cabo.

Felices Olimpiadas de Beijing 2008. Que el 8 del 8 de 2008 nos sorprenda con un precioso día soleado y que la inauguración de los juegos sean tan impresionante como las escenificación de “The Lake Impresions” en Hangzhou dejaban atisbar. Y a los que no conozcan China, que aprovechen esta fraternal y deportiva oportunidad, para conocer un cultura de primera mano, y no a través de los perjuicios de otros.

After all this time without news from me, I wanted to send yo a link  to my last participation in a television program about the impact of the upcoming Olympics in the international arena.

I Had long wanted to express my point of views on current happenings around the close Olympic Games in Beijing and all the journalistic paraphernalia in the International tour of the Olympic flame. So I would like to thank the Gustavo Bueno Foundation, that they invited me to participate in the program they produce for Oviedo Television, with total freedom to express my thoughts and opinions.

It is clear, flagrant and obvious, that the Government of the People's Republic of China is making steps towards its final international opening, and that furthermore, they are doing this, giving one hand and seeking cooperation with Western countries. As reward, they bump with a number of Western observers, with more attention to remember past mistakes and not on encouraging the small steps, huge movement due to their importance, which are taking place.

I would like to wish you happy 2008 Beijing Olympics. The 8 of 8, 2008 will surprised us with a beautiful sunny day and with such an amazing  inauguration of the Games as "The Lake Impresions" show in Hangzhou let wonder. And for those who do not already know China, take advantage of this fraternal and sportive chance to know a culture by firsthand, not through the injury of others.
